Arrived home Tuesday 9 am BC time. We spent Monday night in Dryden
after a stormy crossing in the prairies. It was a great flight through the
VFR pass to Banff. It was a great adventure flying out to Laidman Lake
Lodge. The boys and I really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful hospitality

Magnificent first class wilderness experience


Laidman Lake Ecolodge is a spectacular wilderness retreat!
I was immediately struck by the beauty of the grounds and surrounding landscape.
Pictures simply cannot capture the scale. This is a gem of a lodge. Peaceful,
Isolated, and pollution free. The cabins, furnishings and decor are top notch.
The meals were excellent and usually featured a few of the trout we caught that
day. Fishing was phenomenal within easy reach of the lodge by one of the boats
or with Capt Bill and his absolutely mint condition DHC-2 Beaver. Top this off
with superb shore lunches, and warm hospitable well equipped accommodations
and it is hard not to have a first-class experience. Be sure to add
Laidman lake Ecolodge to your bucket list.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a week at Laidman Lake Ecolodge.
Having work in the area and the need for accomodation the client booked
us into the lodge. Since I'm not much of a camper I was apprehensive about
the stay. My fears were unfounded though. The week was relaxing & restful,
the staff very accomodating & friendly, the food delicious & varied.
Although rustic in nature the cabin was peaceful and once the woodstove
was fired up it became cozy very quickly. After my week long stay I am
more rested & relaxed then I've been for a long time.
